Really liked the song they sang during this operation. Karasuma singing the main melody while the trio harmonized sounded great!

I betting the detective dream probably came from a detective drama show she watch while growing up.

Love the fact the VA's are also doing the singing. I really hope they do put out a CD of all the music from the series.

According to voiceovers, she was interested not in wrestling (which are actual sport based on grappling, holds or throws, depending on exact type), but in pro-wrestling (weird show where sweaty dudes or gals imitate as if they fighting according to pre-written script)

How interesting we get to see Kana's backstory on how she wanted what she wanted to be but cute every time she sees someone or something that influence her in her younger years that she wanted to be this when she grows up.

This was an absolutely beautiful episode. I just can't believe how beautiful this anime is - the visuals, the songs. It's just amazing. I was in awe in how the surgery was portrayed in the song. It was absolutely perfect!

So much good four part music today! The whole surgery scene was fantastic.

And blonde-haired college Ria! Plus Ria-sensei headpats and hugs for all. A blessed episode, especially for Reimi.

That was a great way to show how the surgery was progressing while singing. And how it turned into a beautiful field of grass once they were finished. She's more like a Goddess than a witch.

I love seeing the difference in abilities

I find it really impressive that you can easily tell exactly how the surgery went without anyone needing to explicitly say it. They leave just enough hints for you to figure everything out, from Karasuma covering for her students and starting to overstrain herself, to Kana and co. managing to return the favor by picking their mistress back up as she was just starting to falter.

You bet those three did an excellent job. I had a bad feeling going into the procedure, and while everything ended up going smoothly, you can just tell things could've (and likely would've) gone south FAST if it weren't for them. They definitely did more than merely offer assistance this time.

Karasuma is just showing off at this point. Singing for hours during an operation, while simultaneously lifting the spirits and energy of her apprentices

First time we’ve got a Ria focused episode and it was great! That was definitely a very difficult surgery to perform, without the girls it could have gone very wrong. Also just shows how much the girls have left to learn.

Loved the musical visuals today during the surgery too!

This really is one of the more original series to come along...Carole and Tuesday is the only one I would call a little more ambitious, but I really like the singing/fantasy combo. Doesn't get old, either.
